Hood Filter Exchange Service in Myrtle Beach

Clean, listed baffle filters swapped into your hood on a set schedule — no scrubbing, no downtime, no grease down your drains.

Overview

Fresh Filters Without the Dishwashing

Hood filters are the first barrier between your cooking line and your ductwork. Clogged filters let grease pass into the duct, reduce airflow, and make your exhaust system work harder.

With A&A’s filter exchange program, we bring freshly cleaned baffle filters on a set schedule, swap them into your hood, and take the dirty ones away for cleaning. Your staff never has to scrub filters in the dish pit — and grease stays out of your drains and grease trap.

What’s Included

  • Clean baffle filters delivered and installed
  • Dirty filters removed and professionally cleaned
  • Schedule set to your cooking volume
  • Damaged or warped filters replaced

Why It Matters

Why Clean Filters Matter

NFPA 96 requires listed grease filters in commercial hoods, and mesh filters aren’t permitted. Baffle filters work by forcing air to change direction so grease drops out — but only when they’re clean.

  • Better grease capture means less buildup in your ducts
  • Stronger airflow keeps the kitchen cooler and less smoky
  • Less strain on your exhaust fan motor
  • Longer intervals between costly duct problems
  • No more greasy filters in the dish area

Most kitchens exchange filters every two to four weeks; high-volume fry and grill operations may need weekly service. We’ll recommend the right interval.

Questions & Answers

Hood Filter Exchange FAQ

How often should hood filters be changed or cleaned?

It depends on your cooking volume. Most restaurants benefit from an exchange every two to four weeks, while high-volume fry or charbroil kitchens may need weekly service.

Can we keep cleaning filters ourselves?

You can, but it’s time-consuming, and washing greasy filters sends grease into your drains and grease trap. An exchange program saves labor and keeps filters consistently clean.

Are mesh filters allowed in a commercial hood?

No. NFPA 96 requires listed grease filters, such as baffle filters. Mesh filters are not permitted in commercial cooking hoods.

Do you have filters to fit our hood?

We carry common baffle filter sizes and can source the correct size for your hood. We’ll measure during our first visit.
